Writer: Rick & Lisa WrightRick & Lisa Wright

Welcome to the Lowcountry of South Carolina! In this video, we continue our full time Airstream journey as we explore some of the must see sights and experiences in this beautiful region. Our first stop, the Angel Oak Tree, a live oak tree that is estimated to be over 400 years old. This tree is a true natural wonder and a must-see for anyone visiting Charleston. Next, we head to Folly Beach where Lisa will be collecting shark teeth, seashells and enjoying the beautiful beaches. We also venture up to the Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve. Finally, we visit the USS Yorktown, a World War II aircraft carrier that is now a museum ship. The USS Yorktown is a fascinating piece of history and is a great place to learn about the role that aircraft carriers played in World War II, Korea and Vietnam War. So join us as we explore the Lowcountry of South Carolina and experience all the amazing things this region has to offer.
