Now, the ACI is partnering with Harvest Hosts to offer a much smoother and more user-friendly courtesy parking experience! Over the years, several ACI courtesy parking hosts have expressed disappointment with the limited traffic to their properties through the existing program. On the other hand, many ACI members also belong to Harvest Hosts and rave about the user-friendly website and detailed location information they provide. What’s Wrong With The Current Program?
To underscore this point, we recently asked our viewers through our social media account about their usage of the current ACI courtesy parking program. The results were eye-opening. A majority of respondents either never used courtesy parking (49%) or hadn't even heard of the program (44%). Only a mere 7% had taken advantage of courtesy parking. Clearly, there's ample room for improvement in both program awareness and usability.
While we've utilized Airstream Courtesy Parking (video link) in the past , let's be real—the current website left much to be desired. Finding parking felt like a chore, and trip planning was far from seamless. Harvest Hosts, on the other hand, has a fantastic reputation for its website and app, which makes finding overnight stops a breeze.
