We’re finally back on the road and we couldn’t be happier. Fall is our favorite season to travel by RV and we’re headed north to the Great Lakes. But first we have several days of driving ahead. When it comes to travels days they can be a mixed bag.
Some days you get the good, some days you get the bad, and some days are a little ugly. So if you are curious what really happens during our travel days then you're at the right spot. Click the video link above for a "behind the scenes" look as we trek north and kickoff our Fall Airstream adventures.
THE GOOD:
For us, must travel days are full of the good stuff. From the thrill of discovering new destinations to the simple joy of waking up in a different place each morning, there's something truly special about life on the road. The flexibility to adjust your itinerary based on the weather, the camaraderie of fellow travelers, and the opportunity to experience nature firsthand are just a few of the many perks that make RVing such a rewarding experience.
THE BAD:
RV travel days can also come with their own set of challenges. Long stretches of driving can be tiring and monotonous, especially for those who aren't used to it. Inclement weather can disrupt plans and make driving difficult or even dangerous. Lucky for us, we had great weather when we kicked off this trip. Perhaps the biggest challenge from a travel day is a breakdown or some type of mechanical problem 🛠️.
THE UGLY (...Not Really)
On those really long travel days, it can be difficult to keep yourself entertained while trying to drive the needed miles. When it comes to music and pod casts Lisa and I have very different tastes. However, when one of us starts to sing 🎵, it just might be reason enough to turn the truck and trailer around and head back home 🤣
Final Thoughts
We had a lot fun making this video and hope it gives you a sneak-peek look 👀 behind the scenes of our travels days. Let us know what are some of your good, bad and ugly travel day stories. We would love to hear from you.
Happy Camping & Safe Travels
